The Wyoming Public Service Commission (PSC) regulates the public utilities that provide services to consumers in the state.  The three main industries it regulates are electricity, natural gas and telephone.  In addition, the PSC also regulates some commercial water utilities and intrastate pipelines. It is the PSC’s responsibility to ensure the public utilities operating in Wyoming provide safe and reliable service to customers at just and reasonable rates.

Recent Public Notices

The Commission’s Public Notices typically include a deadline for filing Motions to Intervene. Any interested person who wishes to participate as a party in a contested case before the Commission must file a Motion to Intervene pursuant to Rule 24 of the Wyoming Rules of Civil Procedure, which is incorporated by reference in Chapter 2, Section 3(a)(ii) of the Commission’s Rules. (Click here to access the Wyoming Rules of Civil Procedure.). A Motion to Intervene filed after the Public Notice deadline is not timely and requires a showing of good cause.
